52 Joker and LUNITICA

Hey Everyone,

My wife and I are heading out to Erlanger, Kentucky after work tonight. It's the beginning of the annual 52 Plus Joker Convention! If any of you are in the area, stop on by. It's a great time! Even Lawrence Sullivan, owner of Legends Playing Card Co. (printer of the Draconian and Knights Decks), will be their this year.

LUNITICA PLAYING CARDS

Lunatica is the newest design by Giovanni Meroni (Thirdway Industries).

The Lunitica Decks are crazy, colorful and fully custom, with bright NEON inks. They're designed with a sharp and modern style. And they'll be printed by the United States Playing Card Company.

MINIMUM PRICING CHANGE on DIECUT Stickers

Hey Everyone,

So, we've been talking over the cross promo feedback we've received, and I will admit I was WRONG. I did a similar cross promo a couple years ago with Vanda Playing Cards. Vanda and I went with the $24 minimum because it was the 2-Deck pricing mark, and because of the high cost of the premium freebie items.

I'm not used to planning for a 1-Deck project, and part of me forgot how cheaply we priced the OCULUS Deck! So, we are going to change the minimum for the FREE Stickers to $16 per project. The $16 will cover any OCULUS Backers with 2 Decks or more (including the 2-Deck EARLY BIRD Backers). The Diecut Vinyl Stickers are a premium item, and are not cheap, but I will take the hit for my bad judgement.

I wish it could be a freebie for every Backer of each project, but that's just not possible with the high price of the Stickers.

I'm sorry it took me all day to realize it!

OCULUS and Draconian STICKERS

Hey Everyone,

I hope everyone had a great weekend!

Some of you may already know that I'm also a Collaborator, and designer, on a separate project that's currently funding. The OCULUS Deck is inspired by Pointilism and features a full-bleed borderless design with bold and vibrant Reds and Blues. They will be printed by Hanson Chien Productions, which uses the same printer as Legends Playing Cards. Like the Draconian Back, the OCULUS Back Card is perfect for Cardistry moves!

As our way of thanks, Mike and I didn't want to do just a normal cross-promo between our two projects. We wanted to have a COMPLIMENTARY gift for Backers who are part of both projects.* That gift is the custom Diecut pair of Vinyl Stickers seen below - one with the OCULUS octagon design and one with the Draconian's Dragon Spade!

*The pair of Vinyl Stickers are FREE for any Backer who pledges for $24 or more for EACH of the two projects.

Weekly UPDATE and Alice in Wonderland

Hey Everyone,

We're at the 1 week point, and we're already knocking on the door of $20k AND have crossed over the 300 Backers mark. I couldn't be any happier with the project's progress!!

Next week I'll have a pretty cool cross-promo set of FREEBIE items with another Kickstarter project that I'm a collaborator on. Further details coming on Monday.

Hey Everyone,

I'm stunned to be doing this post so quickly. We are officially over the Funding Goal in less than 11 Hours!! That's amazing!! Thank you all for the support!

I had an eye appointment and a Softball game after work tonight, so I didn't get much of a chance to see most of the day one progress. I just arrived home a little bit ago, and was overwhelmed by the amount of Backers and Funding level!

Simon asked the question about the Embossing Stretch Goal. ALL 3 Decks will have Embossing after the Stretch Goal of $24,000. I think we're in great shape to surpass it!
